Our
Lady’s church
is an architectural monument, standing in the outskirts southwest of the village
of Tortiza, dating back to XIX century. It is a single-nave church (14,0m x
7,8m) built of cobblestone and square brick. To the south and west there are
arched windows and entrances. There is a square niche on either side of the

St.
Ggeorge’s church
is an architectural monument standing 1-km north of the village dating back to
late feudal epoch. It is a single-nave church (9,5m x 5,3m), built of
cobblestone and sandstone. The corners are built up of square brick. There is a
window in each west and east walls, the door is in the south wall. On the west
facade a cross-made of brick appears. The building has a shelf shaped cornice
made of brick. The roof is made of square brick. On the East Side of the roof
there is a four pillar belfry made of brick….
