
Shindisi
St Mary’s church is an architectural monument, standing north of the outskirts of the village of Shindisi, on the cemetery, dating back to late feudal epoch. It is a single-nave church (9,64m x 6,54m), built of a brick, cobblestone and tufa. On the east facade there is a rectangular relief cross and on the apse of the window there is a built in a cross. The entrance is in the west portron of the south wall. There are arched windows in the west and south walls. On the edge of the roof there is a cheep head carved of stone. The building is encircled by a brick cornice of the shape of a shelf….
