Plavismani

 The old settlement “Gokhisgora” is an archaeological monument, standing north of the village, on the bank of an irrigation canal on a lonely hill, dating back to early Stone Age of late Bronze Age. It is oval-shaped. The Top of the hill is a flat ground (65mx25m). Two cultural layers have been discovered in the old settlement. In the first layer clay utensils characteristic of early Bronze Age can be distinguished. The ceramics are of different character burnt in black or red. The second layer contains ceramics made of the same kind of the same kind of clay, burnt black, red or gray. It belongs to early Iron Age of Bronze Age. To the north and south of Gori an old settlement two cultural layers. The ceramics of the first layer of early Bronze Age is versatile. It is burnt in black, red and gray. It is double-folded. In the second layer two fragments were found. They are of the color of gray. The surface of one of them is covered with deep lines. The other one is decorated with ornament resembling Fishbone. It dates back to early Stone Age of late Bronze Age….

 Samarovani” (burrel mound) stone is an archaeological monument, situated in the village of Plavismani. It belongs to Early Stone Age of late Bronze Age. It was discovered by chance. In 1924 while cultivating the ground. The stone-box was damaged, Archaeological findings were observed. They were lost….

 The Stone-box is an archaeological monument situated north-east of the village of Plavismani, dating back to Early Stone Age of late Bronze Age. It was found by chance while building the Tiriphona canal. The stone-box lay 2 km down from the surface of the ground and it was a common grave. The stone-box being damaged was very difficult to identify the style of burring. Among the findings clay utensils and Bronze articles are to be mentioned. A hooked pin, a short double-edged sword with two holes on the handle, The findings are kept in the state museum of Georgia….
