Usaneti
Church
is an architectural monument standing in the center of Didi Mejvriskhevi.
According to the inscription on the marble tile of the east facade, the church
was built in 1851 by Ivane Khakhutashvili.
It
is a single nave church (12,0m x 7,0m) built of brick and cobblestone. The
entrances are to the south and west. There is a rectangular window on all four
sides. On the West Side a square belfry was attached (two pillars still remain).
The southern gate is almost ruined….
The
building is badly damaged!

St Mary’s Church is an architectural monument, standing east of the village of Didi Mejvrishkevi on an old cemetery, dating back to IX-X centuries. It is a single-nave church, built of sandstone. The triumph and supporting arches are made of carved shirimi stone. In the east wall there is an entrance and two rectangular windows….

Mary’s Church
is an architectural monument, standing in the center of the village of Patara
Mejvriskhevi, built in 1819. It is a single-nave church (6,6m x 5,3m) built of
cobblestone. The entrance is to the south. There is a window on each east and
west wall. The nave is covered with a barrel vault built of brick. On the west
facade a brick cross appears and on the south facade there is a relief cross
above the door….
The

is an architectural monument, standing north west of the village of Patara
Mejvriskhevi on the cemetery, dating back to late feudal epoch. The church is
single-nave built of cobblestone and brick. The arded entrance is to the south.
There is a window and two deep niches in the semicircular apse. There is a
window on each west and south wall. The south window is bricked up. There are
decorative brick rombs on each side of the door. There is a brick belfry on the
West Side of the roof….
