Megvrekisi

John the Babtizer’s Church is an architectural monument standing in the center of the village of Megvrekisi, dating back to late feudal epoch. It is a single-nave church (9,6x6, 3m) built of cobblestone. The frame of the door, corners and the upper portion of the church are faced with gray stone.  Koshki is an architectural monument standing west of the village of Megvrekisi, dating back to XVII-XVIII centuries. Koshki is barrel shaped (diameter 7m, thickness of the wall 1,3m). Two storied, built of cobblestone, the entrance is to the north on the second floor. There is a built-in staircase floor. There is a built-in staircase in the church…..
