Kordi

 St. Mary’s Church is an architectural monument, standing in the outskirts south of the village of Kordi, on the Right Bank of the river Liakhvi, dating back to XVI-XVIII centuries. It is a single-nave church (5,0m x 8,0m), built of cobblestone and carved stone. On the east facade a low relief cross is made. Other facades are decorated. There is a three-line inscription on the west door: “God, have mercy on Giorgi”.

Some subsidiary rooms must be later period….

 St. Barbara’s Church is an architectural monument, standing in the outskirts south of the village of Kordi, dating back to XVI-XVII century. It is a single-nave church (5,76m x 3, 68m), built of cobblestone; carved stone is also used….

      The building is badly damaged!

 Archangele’s Church is an architectural monument, standing in the outskirts of the village of Kordi, dating back to XVI-XVII centuries. It is a single-nave church (7,0m x5, 0m). In the south wall there is an entrance and a window. The facades contain the arches of windows.  Under the east facade an iconostasis belongs to the XI-XII century. Church is built in. Over the east window a relief cross appears on the right there is a human figure, holding a sizeable cross. The roof is tiled….

 Koshki  (tower) is an architectural monument, standing in the village of Kordi, on the left bank of the river Liakhvi, dating back to the middle of XVIII century, It is barrel-shaped with the diameter 8,4m, two-storied, built of cobblestone, and brick is also used. The building is damaged. It must have had a battleground as well. The entrance is to the north on the second floor. On the facade there is a cross with rows of diamonds on either side….

        The building is badly damaged!
