Gvarebi

St George’s Church is an architectural monument standing in the village of Gvarebi, on the slope of a hill dating back to late feudal epoch. There is a hall in the upper portion of the church (7,86m x 5, 0m) built of sizeable basalt stones, Tiny squares of shirimi stone are also used. The entrance is in the rest portion of the south wall. In the upper portion of the east facade two crosses appear.

      The building is badly damaged!
