
Dzevera
St.
George’s Church
is an architectural monument, standing in the village of Dzevera, dating back to
IX- X centuries. It is a single-nave church (9,7m x 6,2m), built of cobblestone.
The corners, windows, entrances, pillars, supporting arches and the cornice are
of sizeable squares of wine-coloured tufa. The church has two arched entrances;
both of them are rectangular from inside. The platform of the altar is a bit
higher then the floor. There are two arched windows in the south wall. On the
east facade there is a window on top of which there is a medallion with a
rectangular cross in it. On both sides of it there is a medallion with rosettes.
On the east portron of the roof there is a four-arched belfry….

Natlismtsemeli Church
is an architectural monument standing south-east of the village of Dzevera, in
the field, dating back to advanced feudal epoch. It is a single-nave church
(7,0m x 10,0m), built of carved sandstone and cobblestone.
It
is badly damaged!
