Didi Tsereti

St. Mary’s Church is an architectural monument, standing in the middle of the village, dating back to XIV-XV century. It is a single-nave church (12,5m x 7, 5m). The outside facade is made of carved stone. The inside one of fragmented stone. The entrance is to the south. The mural is hardly visible…..

 The building is damaged!

Koshki an architectural monument is situated to the north of the village of Didi Tsereti near the ruing of a church, dating back to approximately XIV-XV century. It is pyramid- shaped, the basis is square, built of fragmented stones, Judging from the surviving walls it must have been a three-storied building….

It is badly damaged!

Koshki an architectural monument is situated west of the village of Didi Tsereti in the gorge near an old settlement and a church. It belongs to XIV-XV century. (It was built before firearms were introduced.) It is barrel-shaped. The inside diametre is 3,5m; the thickness of the wall is 1,4m. It is built of fragmented stone. By the surviving walls it must have been 5 storied….

   The building is badly damaged!
